Leetonia, OH-June 12, 2009-Ronald G. Rohm, 60, of 40468 Fork Road, died at 6:06 p.m. Friday at the Salem Community Hospital after becoming ill at home.
Mr. Rohm was born November 16, 1948 in Green County, PA, a son of Frank and Mary Ward Rohm and had lived in this area most of his life.
He was a caster for SCI in Columbiana and had also worked for Beaver Creek Meadows Golf Course and Franklin Furniture.
He attended Franklin Square Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce Scott, whom he married May 16, 1975; two daughters, Esther (Rob) Kelly of Columbiana and Sara Rohm of Lexington, OH; four sisters, Pauline (John) Baker of Columbiana, Sandy (Gene) Schreib of Ithaca, NY, Patricia (Rodney) Sowards of Lisbon and Marcie (Roger) Thomas of Summerville, SC; two brothers, Raymond (Roberta) Rohm of East Palestine and David Rohm of Leetonia; a granddaughter, Leia Sinkovich; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Effie May "Tootsie" Claypool and a brother, Gary Rohm.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend Enzie Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
