Paul Kepp Obituary

Columbiana - Paul Kepp, age 41, of Columbiana, passed away in late May of 2023 after a long battle with mental illness.

He was born on March 6, 1982, in Youngstown, the son of Robert Kepp, Jr. and Deborah Deutschlander.

Paul grew up in Columbiana and graduated from Columbiana High School in 2001.  He attended YSU and graduated in 2003 from ITT with a degree in computer science.  Paul loved sciences, nature, all animals, martial arts and flying.  When possible, he attended the Church of the Nazarene in Columbiana.  He was much loved by his family who all tried to help Paul.

Paul is survived by his father, Robert (Joann) Kepp, Jr. of Lowellville; mother, Deborah Deutschlander of Columbiana; three aunts, Sue (Susan Brandt) Deutschlander of Salem, Carole Hartsock of Jacksonville, FL and Linda Baskey of Tennessee; uncle, George (Maria) Deutschlander, III of North Lima; four cousins, Stephen Mihlan of North Lima, Joseph Mihlan of Chicago, IL, Daniel Hartsock of Jacksonville, FL, and Michelle Hartsock of Jacksonville, FL, as well as several other cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert H. and Helen Kepp, Sr; maternal grandparents, George T. and Lorraine Deutschlander, and by his great aunt, Matilda “Tilly” Taylor.

No services will be held, instead, memorial donations may be made in Paul’s memory to The Rescue Mission of Youngstown, 1300 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Youngstown, OH 44510

The family would like to thank all of Paul’s friends for their love and support.
