Leetonia - Kevin R. Hall, 44, of 248 High Street, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his home, suddenly of an apparent heart attack.
Kevin was born June 16, 1967 in Salem, the son of Richard G. and Charlene McKarns Hall and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a 1985 graduate of Leetonia High School and received his bachelors' degree from Kent State University in 1990. He had been employed as operations manager at Witmer's Inc.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Leetonia Lodge #401 F. & A.M. He was also a member of the Leetonia Ruritan Club and was serving on the Cherry Valley Coke Ovens Restoration Committee.
Beside his parents of Leetonia, he is survived by three children, Jessica M. Hall, Kevin Tyler Hall, and Allison E. Hall, and their mother, Jill C. Hall, all of Lisbon; a sister, Mrs. Brenda K. (Robert) Foor of Leetonia; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Hall of Salem; and four nieces and nephews, Michael and Heidi Bock and Anna and Daniel Foor.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Lynn Hall; his maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Rose McKarns; and his paternal grandfather, Glenn Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia and at the church one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Leetonia Lodge will conduct Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial tributes may be made to the Beth Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund, % St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 29 Spruce Street, Leetonia, OH 44431.
