Glen Allen Lacey, Sr

East Palestine-Glen Allen Lacey, Sr., 79, of McClure Road, died at 9:56 am Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

Mr. Lacey was born July 18, 1935 in East Palestine, a son of the late Earl and Helen Hall Lacey and had lived in this area all of his life.

Glen was a union laborer in the construction industry and had worked for various construction companies including Reiley Construction.

He is survived by his wife the former Evelyn Joyce Winters, whom he married June 11, 1955; two daughters, Robin Winters of Salem and Terri (David) Wendel of New Waterford; two sons, Glen Allen (Patty) Lacey, Jr. of New Waterford and Brian Lacey of TN; a sister, Mary Gerlach of East Palestine; a brother, John (Pat) Lacey of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A brother, Donald Lacey and a grandson, Thomas Bradford preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 12 noon-1:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana where an informal funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm.

Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
