Betty S. Beight

Leetonia - Betty S. Beight, age 92, of Leetonia, died on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.

She was born on May 4, 1931, in North Georgetown, daughter of the late Harry and Helen Hawkins Stoffer.

Betty had worked as a treasurer for Crestview Local School District for 29 years and was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Columbiana County Historical Society and was involved in Bible study and Sunday school at church. Betty enjoyed working in her flower beds, feeding the birds, reading and cross stitching.

Her husband, William H. Robb, whom she married on July 22, 1950, preceded her in death on January 20, 1964.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Mercer of New Waterford; son, Kenneth (Carol) Robb of New Waterford; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Wollet of Columbiana, Deanna (James) Derringer of New Waterford, Monica (Charles) Blasdel of Columbiana, Sarah Robb of Leetonia and Amanda Robb of Columbiana; eleven great grandchildren and countless other beloved family members, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William David Stoffer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church, New Waterford.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church, New Waterford, with Reverend Lisa Courtwright officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the East Fairfield United Methodist Church, 45675 St. Rt. 558 New Waterford, OH 44445 or to Columbiana Area Meals on Wheels, 11 N Main St. Columbiana, OH 44408.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
