Wilma L. Billet

Leetonia - Wilma L. Billet, 89, of 88 Pine Street, died at 12:50 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Masternick Memorial Healthcare Center, New Middletown.

Mrs. Billet was born June 29, 1922 in Jasper County, Texas, a daughter of William and Dillie Powell Miller. She had been employed by various restaurants in the area. She had served as bar manager for several years at the former OSI Club in Leetonia.

Her husband, Victor P. Billet, whom she married January 5, 1946 died November 21, 1993.

She is survived by two daughters, Gayle (Dick) Morton of Danville, IN and Patricia (Tate) Burkhart of Kent; a son, William (Joanie) Billet of Leetonia, two brothers, Allen Ray Miller and Milton Miller, both of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Morton, Heather (Shawn) Finch, Paul Billet, and Laura (Shane Meade) Billet; and three great grandchildren, William Bevington, Presley Hill, and Layla Meade.

Funeral services will 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Father Steve Wassie officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
