Boardman - January 6, 2008 - William H. Wining, 56, of 360 Shields Road, formerly of Columbiana, died Sunday at 1:20 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown of injuries from an auto accident.

Bill was born July 19, 1951 in Salem, the dutiful son of Henry T. and Virginia Steffy Wining and loving husband of Zosimar (Susie) Gayon Wining and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Columbiana High School and of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts.

He had been employed as assistant manager of the Perkins Restaurant, Canfield. He had a passion for cooking and pastry making. He was a believer and Apostle of the Kingdom of Jesus.

He is also survived by two sisters, Jeanette (James Wolosyn) Tait-Wolosyn of Boardman and Phyllis Keylor of Columbiana; three brothers, Dennis (Vicki) Wining of Leetonia, Peter Wining of El Cajon, CA, and Robert Wining of Alpine, CA; a niece, Dinah Umboh; five nephews, James, Robert, Aaron, Joseph, and Dwight Wining and Dustin Keylor; two great nieces and two great nephews, Gavin and Casey Umboh, Melanie Wining Brewer, and James Brown Wining; his mother in law, Marina Gayon; two brothers in law, Demosthenes (Paulita) and Rizalino (Edith), both of the Phillipines; and two sisters in law, Imelda (Al) Moreno and Violet of Katy, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with the Reverend Thomas Ziegler, of St. Jude Catholic Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
