William "Bill" R. Johns

Columbiana- William "Bill" R. Johns, age 80, of Columbiana, died on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on September 22, 1937 in Saltsburg, PA., a son of the late Lloyd and Dorothy Garris Johns.

Bill was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War, and had worked at Columbiana Buick Cadillac Chevrolet.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dodson Johns, whom he married on November 30. 1957; a brother, Larry Johns of Westlake, OH, and a sister, Susan Paradise of Brecksville, OH.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Johns.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery where The Benjamin Firestone Post #290 American Legion Honor Guard will render honors.
