William G. Heverly

Leetonia - William G. Heverly, age 66, of Leetonia, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his home in Leetonia.

He was born on June 8, 1959, in Salem, son of the late Morgan and Donna Sheppard Heverly.

William had worked as a plumber and enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate, Penn State and Buffalo Bills fan.

William is survived by wife, Colleen Macklin Heverly, whom he married on July 7, 2012, his son, Matt Heverly of Washingtonville; daughter, Chelsea (Dylan) Paumier of Boardman; three grandchildren, Ezra Paumier, Everson Paumier and Everly Paumier; three sisters, Chris Heverly, Julie Heverly and Doreen Heverly and brother, Perry (Sandy) Heverly. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by brother, Butch Heverly.

Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or Parkinsons Research Charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff and nurses from Ohio Living Hospice and all of their family and friends for their support through the difficult times.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
