William Leo Gibson

North Lima - William Leo Gibson, age 77, of North Lima, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland.

He was born of February 10, 1937 in Salem, a son of the late James Stuart Gibson and the late Catherine Patricia Harkins Gibson.

Bill had lived in Maryland most of his life and had served in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by a daughter, Kara Hawley of Maryland; three sons, Sean Gibson of Maryland, Kyle Gibson of Florida and Teague Gibson of Maryland; a sister, Catherine Gore of Maryland and a brother, John T. Gibson of Maryland. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Mary O’Day Gibson and by three brothers, Richard Edward, Robert P. and James S. Gibson, Jr.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. Interment will be held at a later date at in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Maryland.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
