William O. Cusick

Grove City, Pennsylvania November 18, 2007 -William Oswell Cusick, age 79, of 1173 Slippery Rock Road died at 9:07 p.m. Sunday at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born April 23, 1928 in Lisbon, son of Oswell Hasting and Elda Malone Cusick, William had lived in Grove City, PA since 1975 coming from Salem OH.

He had been a Heavy Equipment Operator out of Local #66 since 1955.

He attended Wayside Community Church in Grove City, PA.

His wife, Pauline McGrogan whom he married August 23, 1958 survives him, as well as; two daughters, Deborah Day of Austintown and Lorie Hajdu of Brownsville PA; four sons, David (Jean) Cusick of Columbiana, Curtis (Christine) Cusick of Jamestown, PA, Brian Cusick of Greenville, PA, and William (Christine) Cusick of Greensburg; four sisters, Ellen Lutz of Newport, KY, Helen Mansis of Lawndale, CA, Mrs. Bob (Jane) Elsner of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Bob (Shirley) Thirion of Lisbon, OH; four brothers, Wayne Cusick of Florence, PA, Lee Cusick of Phoenix, AZ, Allen Cusick of Fort Wayne, IN, and Glen Cusick of Lisbon; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

He was preceded by one son Michael Cusick on November 29, 1998; four sisters, Florence Barrett, Mary Crawford, Lois Dutch and Marilyn Beverly; three brothers, Carl, James and Earl Cusick.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Charles Cusick officiating.

Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
