Wilbert Edward Johnson

Columbiana - Wilbert Edward Johnson, age 54, of Columbiana, died on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown after a sudden illness. He was born on August 27, 1960, the son of the late Ralph and Beverly Jones Johnson.

Wilbert had worked as a truck driver for 35 years having been employed most recently with Aim Leasing Company, Girard. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and enjoyed watching both NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Blissell Johnson, whom he married on December 16, 1989; a step-daughter, Erin Hrivnak of Cincinnati; step-son, Scott (Becky) Hrivnak of Leetonia; four granddaughters, Amanda (Ross) Kohl, Elyssa Scarnecchia, Taylor Hrivnak and Bella Hrivnak and by two grandsons, Dylan Hrivnak and Ryan Hrivnak. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Lilliana Scarnecchia and Lincoln Kohl.

Wilbert was preceded in death by a step-son, Stephen Hrivnak The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery, Columbiana.
