Wayne Huston Cope

New Waterford - June 27, 2008 -Wayne Huston Cope, 93, of 45379 Crestview Road died at 4:05 a.m. Friday, at the St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

He was born December 17, 1914 in East Fairfield, a son of Clark J. and Hazel Huston Cope and had lived in the area all of his life. He was employed as a machinist at NRM in Columbiana for several years and was also a self employed farmer.

He was a member of the Columbiana Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Surviving him are his wife, the former, Alice L. Ferrall whom he married October 1, 1959; a daughter, Teresa Branner of Madison Heights, VA; a son, Mark W. Cope of New Waterford; as well as, four grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Jason Gear officiating. Burial will follow in the East Fairfield Cemetery.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.
