Wade Albert Grant

Leetonia - Wade Albert Grant, 57, passed away Monday afternoon, December 19, 2016 at Salem Regional Medical Center following a long illness.

Mr. Grant was born July 24, 1959 in Camden, New Jersey a son of Ralph and Barbara Fox Grant and had lived in this area most of his life. Wade worked for the Village of Leetonia for the water and sewer department for 21 years.

Wade is survived by his mother, Barbara Grant of Washingtonville; his wife, the former Juanita Knestrick, whom he married April 14, 1979; two daughters. Sherry (Robbie) Smith and Shannon Grant of Lisbon; a son, Shawn (Connie Hartwick) Grant of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Regina (Bill) Pflugh and Penny (Dane) Sheely of Virginia; a brother, Mark (Vicky) Grant of Hubert, NC; and seven grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Laura, Brittney, Taylor and Timothy.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Grant II and a grandson Shawn, Jr.

A time of gathering will be held Friday, December 23, 2016 from 4-6 pm at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
