Vivian Harriet Rupert

New Waterford October 31, 2004 -Vivian Harriet Rupert, age 89, of 3317 Sycamore Street died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday in the Blossom Nursing Center.

She was born December 30, 1914 in Columbiana, daughter of Edward and Margaret Renkenberger Mitchell and had lived in the area all of her life.

She had been a Nurse for Drs. Harry & Lee Bookwalter. She was involved with her husband, Wayne and her son Allen, in the development of Valley Acres allotment at New Waterford OH and was very active in the community.

Mrs. Rupert was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Columbiana, taught Sunday School, was active in the choir and led the Bell Choir

She was Past Worthy Matron and a member of East Palestine Chapter #381 OES.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marjory) Mason of Columbiana; a son, Allen L. Rupert of New Waterford; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Xenia Reagan and Winifred White preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Boehm officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the Eastern Star will conduct a service at 6:45 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
