Virginia L. Ferrall, age 77, of 630 Springfield Road, Columbiana died at 6:27 p.m. Monday at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown following an extended illness.

Mrs. Ferrall was born January 28, 1927 in East Palestine, a daughter of Russell and Clara McKee Hughes and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a beautician for many years in East Palestine and Columbiana.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Ferrall, whom she married in 1976; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Sharon) Suffolk of South Lyon, Michigan and Mrs. Steve (Jane) Koch of Columbiana; a sister, Mrs. Ronald (Vivian) Fuller of East Palestine; three brothers, Russell (Maxine) Hughes Jr., of Rhode Island, Robert (Dorothy) Hughes of East Palestine, and George (Donna) Hughes of Canton, OH; six grandchildren, Troy Lumley, Rick Clark, Jeremy Clark, Kimberly Clark Bauer, Jennifer Suffolk-Chappell and Jeffrey Suffolk; and eight great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Grant Hughes, James Hughes, and Kenneth Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Church of Christ, East Palestine, with Mr. Robert Helbeck, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.

Arrangements were made by the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice or the First Church of Christ, East Palestine.
