Vera Elizabeth Mccoy
Salem - April 6, 2010 - Vera Elizabeth McCoy, 64, of 8477 Salem-Unity Road, died Tuesday, at 5:40 p.m. at St. Elizabeth's Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. McCoy was born March 26, 1946 in Bluefield, WV a daughter of the late Shelton and Elva Comptain Joyce and had lived in the area most of her life.
Vera had been a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gene M. McCoy whom she married June 16, 1964; two sons, Shelton McCoy and Robert McCoy both of Salem; five sisters, Janet Behlke of Akron, Wanda Quear of Bessemer, PA, Cynthia Crump of New Waterford, Connie Sipes of Uniontown, PA and Sharon Mull of Somerset, PA; a brother, Jamie Joyce of New Springfield and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will be in the Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
