Vera I Doss

Columbiana- Vera I. Doss, age 81, of Columbiana, died on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center, New Middletown.

She was born on November 4, 1934 in Fredericktown, OH, a daughter of the late John and Mabel Hoover Green.

Vera was a member of the First Christian Church of Columbiana and had owned Happy Time Popcorn.

Her husband, Raymond E. Doss Jr., whom she married on September 9, 1955, preceded her in death on March 31, 2002.

She is survived by a son, John Doss of Poland; a half-sister, Pam Barret of Fredericktown, OH. Also surviving are two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Vera was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond E. Doss III and Sammy Doss and by several sisters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with John Reed, Minister.

Burial will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Boardman.
