Toni L. O'Neill

East Palestine- Toni Lynn O'Neill, age 68, of East Palestine, died on Monday, March 27, 2017 after a long hard battle with cancer.

She was born on May 24, 1948 in Salem, the daughter of the late Don and June Avenell Bowles.

Toni graduated from East Palestine High School in 1966 and received her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in 1985, graduating with honors. She had retired after working at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center for 25 years.

Toni enjoyed traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, knitting, crocheting and crafting. She also enjoyed taking drives in their convertible with the top down, trips with the family to Cedar Point, and of course, family vacations to Florida. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick O'Neill, whom shemarried on August 16, 1969; daughter, Alison O'Neill and husband Matthew Moler of Washington D.C.; son, Ryan O'Neill and wife, Jamie of Summerville, SC; brother, Don Bowles and wife, Liz of East Palestine and by her three grandchildren, Claire, Alana, Ethan.

At her request, private family services were held.

Burial was at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, PA.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
