Timothy W. Wichert

Struthers - June 28, 2010 - Timothy W. Wichert, 49, of 28 Park Ave. died at 7:20 a.m. Monday at his home.

Mr. Wichert was born July 18, 1960 in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Loverna Oliver Wichert and had lived in this area all his life.

He had been employed as a steel worker for General Extrusions in Youngstown and had served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm.

Besides his mother of Struthers, Timothy is survived by a daughter, Kasey Wichert of North Royalton; a son, Adam Wichert of North Benton; and three brothers, Larry Wichert of Las Vegas, NV, Rob Wichert of Leetonia and Andrew Wichert of NC.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Pastor Mike Direnzo of Destiny House officiating, where the Benjamin Firestone Post #290 will accord military honors. Burial will be in the Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday.
