East Palestine, OH-August 26, 2004-Timothy Parks Craik, age 52, died at 8:53 a.m. Thursday at Salem Community Hospital of an anurysm after becoming ill at home.
Mr. Craik was born January 30, 1952 in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of Harry P. and Donna J. Fullerton Craik and had lived in the area since 1967 coming from Industry, PA.
Tim was a salesman for John Seretti Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep in Calcutta, OH. He was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship, New Waterford and the Negley Lodge #565 F.&A.M.
He is survived by his wife, the former Melody S. Smith, whom he married November 26, 2001; two daughters, Lindsay E. Craik of Cleveland and Angela J. Craik of Niles; two step daughters, Mrs. Scott (Julie) Keslar of Chicago, IL and Jennah S. Lalley at home; two sons, Timothy P. Craik, Jr. and his wife, Rae and Nathan E. Craik, all of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. J. Patrick (Cynthia L.) Gillis and Mrs. Douglas E. (Mary Jo) Doran both of East Palestine; five grandchildren, Quentin and Gianna Craik and Haley, Taylor and Lindsay Keslar; two nieces, two nephews and one great niece. He was preceded in death by a brother Harry Craik.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 30, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Pastor Donald A. Stevenson officiating. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to either the East Palestine EMS or the East Palestine Library.
