Tim Bechtel

Columbiana- Tim Bechtel, age 55, of Columbiana, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on August 15, 1963 in Warren, OH., a son of Catherine Vincovich Bechtel and the late Amos Bechtel Jr.

Tim had worked as a sheet metal journeyman and enjoyed farming.  He also enjoyed fishing and had a passion for motorcycles and tractor pulling.  Mostly, Tim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Bechtel of Columbiana; his ex-wife, Michele Bowen Bechtel of Columbiana; two daughters, Monica Bechtel and Carleen Bechtel both of Columbiana; a son, Brian Bechtel of Columbiana; two sisters, Jill Eisenberg of Israel and Joy Kellner of New Waterford, and by a brother, Amos Bechtel, III. of Oregon.  Also surviving are three granddaughters, Scarlett Bechtel, Emma Matthey and Braelyn Bechtel, and by two grandsons, Timothy Matthey and Emerson Bechtel.

Per Tim’s wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Donations may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
