Thomas A. Richardson

New Waterford - Thomas A. Richardson, age 96, of New Waterford, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Salem Regional Medical Center, Salem.

He was born on February 1, 1930, in Salem, a son of the late Earl and Isabel Rodgers Richardson.

Tom was a graduate of Lisbon High School and had worked various jobs over the years including insurance sales. He enjoyed camping with his family when the kids were young, bowling and spending time with his beloved pets. Mostly, Tom had a passion for golf. He loved playing the game as well as watching golf on television.

He is survived by his three daughters, Jean Ann Simon of Columbiana, Susan (Bill) Ineman of Columbiana, and Annette "Annie" (Will) Ginder of East Palestine; eleven grandchildren, Cathy (Mike) Griggy, Shelly (Mike) Martin, Melissa (Mark Marlow) Malcomson, Jennifer (Nick) Lunn, Ron Novak, Joshua (Tracy) Ineman, Scott Ginder, Jake (Nikki) Ginder, Tracey McClellan, Monica Bradley, and Ryan Richardson; eleven great grandchildren, Kimberly Griggy, Christina Griggy, Kody (Haley) Watkins, Kat (Trey) Dain, Nora Ineman, Maggie Ineman, Parker Lunn, Molly Lunn, Gideon Ginder, Cameron McClellan, and Rowan Bradley.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Richardson; a son-in-law, Bruce Simon; a grandchild, Kari Novak; a daughter-in-law, Linda Richardson; and by three siblings.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will be held on Sunday, at 5:00 pm, at the funeral home, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
