East Palestine, OH - May 1, 2010 - Thomas G. Lordi, 90, of 605 North Walnut Street, formerly of Ellwood City, PA, died Saturday morning at Hospice House in Poland.
Mr. Lordi was born April 10, 1920 in Italy, a son of George and Pauline Lordi and had lived in East Palestine for 15 years, coming from Ellwood City.
He had been employed as an accountant at H. Wolfe Iron & Metal in New Castle, PA.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ellen Pozzuto, whom he married June 14, 1948; a daughter, Roberta (Pete) Brittain of East Palestine; a son, George (Cathy) Lordi of Bethel Park, PA; four grandchildren, Nicholas Lordi, Amanda Lordi and her fiancAC., Adam DeKnight, Whitney Brittain and Abby Brittain; and two step grandchildren, Leslie (Kevin) Borovitcky and Tracy (Kelly) Kircher.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the chapel of Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2900 Brighton Rd., Ellwood City, PA with Pastor Don Monaco officiating.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH. If friends desire, memorials may be directed to the East Palestine EMT's.
