Thomas "Tom" J. Henry

New Waterford – Thomas “Tom” J. Henry, 67, of New Waterford, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 23, 2024.

He was born on September 14, 1956, in Salem, son of the late Paul and Lula Lewis Henry.

Tom was a devoted husband and father. He worked as an auto body mechanic for 20 years and owned and operated M&T Sports with his wife Mary for 20 years. Tom enjoyed watching and coaching his sons in baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynne Hays Henry, whom he married on November 12, 1977; two sons, Adam P. (Jessica) Henry of Columbus and Nicholas J. Henry (Vickie) of New Waterford; three sisters, Linda Couve of Illinois, Sandy (Jerry) Conners of East Palestine and Andrea (Kenneth) Kissinger of East Palestine and a sister-in-law, Nancy Henry of Columbiana. Also Surviving are his grandchildren, Lacey, Taylor, Brady, Trey and Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Marge, Donna, Shirley and Betty and two brothers, Paul and Larry.

Per the families wishes no services will be held at this time.
