Canfield, OH - June 18, 2010 - Theodore Bale, 87, 4D Hunters Woods Blvd. died at 5:20 a.m. Friday at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in East Palestine.
Mr. Bale was born September 30, 1922 in Farrell, PA, a son of the late James and Elizabeth Opincar Bale and had lived in Canfield for 17 years coming from Poland.
Theodore was a crane operator at Sharon Steel for 42 years and a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Columbiana, the Lions Club and the Men's Garden Club both of Canfield. He served in the US Army during WWII.
His wife, the former Erma N. Bieber, whom he married March 24, 1964 died June 8, 2004.
He is survived by three sisters, Eugenia Misavage of Warren, Victoria Bale of New Wilmington, PA and Cornelia Carley of Sharon, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend W. David H. Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Lutheran Cemetery, Canfield. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
