Thelma L. Sebrell

Salem-March 28, 2008-Thelma L. Sebrell, age 77, died at 9:15 p.m. Friday in Salem Community Hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Sebrell was born January 22, 1931 in Alliance, OH, a daughter of Harold K. and Helen Mumaw Kuntze and had lived in this area all of her life.

Thelma was a 1950 graduate of Alliance High School. She was a homemaker and member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, Leetonia. She was also a member of Mt. Nebo Grange and the Sandhi Club of Alliance.

She is survived by her husband Carl R. Sebrell, whom she married May 6, 1956 in the Union Ave. Methodist Church, Alliance; three sons, Rick (Susan) Sebrell of Boardman, Kevin Sebrell of Barberton and Gary (Rebecca) Sebrell of Salem; two brothers, Karl Kuntze of Alliance and Richard Kuntze of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.

A sister, Carolyn Woodard preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Jenna Brown officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
