Terry L. Rock

Terry L. Rock, age 61, of 124 South 9th Street, Columbia, PA, formerly of East Palestine, died at 3:42 p.m. Monday in the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

Mr. Rock was born April 12, 1943 in Salem, a son of Elmer H. and Alice Walls Rock and had lived in Pennsylvania several years, coming from East Palestine.

He had served in both the US Marines and the US Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a craneman at Babcox & Wilcox in Beaver Falls, PA for 20 years.

He is survived by his mother, Alice McIntosh of New Waterford; two daughters, Zaszasette D. Klupp of Arizona and Abby Freshwater of Aliquippa, PA; two sons, Terry L. Rock, Jr. of New Sewickley, PA and David Rock of Veedersburg, IN; three sisters, Nancy Rock, Judith Wilson, and Tamara Priddy, all of Salem; a brother, William Rock of Elizabethtown, KY; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, with the Reverend Larry Paxson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery.
