Columbiana- Tami L. Pearl, age 57, of Columbiana, went home to be with God on Friday, July 17, 2015 with her husband by her side.
She was born on June 17, 1958 in Salem, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Hall Cope.
Tami was a 1977 graduate of Columbiana High School. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia, where she served on council and became "famous" for her potato salad. Tami was also recently "crowned" St. Paul's Mother of the Year. She was a member of the American Legion Post 290 Auxiliary and the Columbiana Football Moms. Tami was instrumental in the creation of the "Celebration of Life Garden" at Firestone Park. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Brian, spending time at the beach, collecting Boyds Bears and visiting with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 26 year, Brian W. Pearl whom she married on July 15, 1989; three sons, Drew (Autumn) Garrod of Ashville, NC, Derek (Jenea) Garrod of Columbus, OH and Tanner Pearl, living at home; a sister, Pat (Terry) Poulton of Columbiana; two brothers, C. Tucker (Linda) Cope of Columbiana and John (Kathie) Cope of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Zaphira and Arielle Garrod and three grandsons, Zanthias, Zavriel and Jamin Garrod.
Tami was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Conkle.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana and one hour prior to the service at the church.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.
