Sylvia Irene Brinker

Columbiana April 8, 2006 -Sylvia Irene Brinker, age 87, of 4471 Kirk Road died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday in the Blossom Nursing Center.

She was born April 29, 1918 in Leetonia, daughter of Ira and Mina Shank Blosser and had lived in the area all of her life.

Mrs. Brinker was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Alton D. Brinker, whom she married July 2, 1937, preceded her in death on February 13, 1991.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ronnie (Sandra) Streng of Columbiana; two sons, Laverne I. Brinker of Leetonia and Clifford A. Brinker of Columbiana; a sister, Mrs. Helen E. Heindel of Wesley Chapel, FL; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A sister, Pauline Jennings, preceded her in death

Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Rev. Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
