Suzanne M. Knopp

Greenford, OH-January 29, 2004-A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia for Suzanne M. Knopp, age 71, of Pine Lake Road who passed away January 29, 2004 at home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Knopp was born April 10, 1932 in Leetonia, the daughter of Aaron L. and Sarah M. Laughlin Morris.

She was raised by Elby A. and Gertrude Morris and had lived in the area all of her life.

She was a 1950 graduate of Leetonia High School. She worked for 25 years in the cafeteria of South Range Middle School and was a member of Greenford Lutheran Church. She was an excellent cook and baker and an avid reader and quilter.

Her husband, Robert B. Knopp, whom she married July 1, 1950 preceded her in death January 22, 1982.

She leave her siblings, Linda L. (Ray) Hertel of Leetonia, Paul E. (Donna) Morris of Mission Viejoi, CA and Karl A. Morris of Papillion NE; a daughter, Laurie S. Knopp of Faquay-Varina, NC; and sons, Douglas R. (Jerri) Knopp of Corpus Christi, TX, Richard V. Knopp and Donald J. (Heidi) Knopp both of Greenford; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leetonia Public Library or the Leetonia Historical Society.
