Susan M. Miller

New Waterford, OH-Susan M. Boyer Miller, 69, of New Waterford, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 11:45 am following a short illness.

Mrs. Miller was born December 6, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of James E. and Vera G. Grapes Schweitzer and had lived in this area most of her life.

Susan was a school bus driver for 31 years for the Crestview School District retiring in 2003. She had also worked at the former McKelvey Department Store in Youngstown.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Miller, whom she married June 13, 1998; a daughter, Karen (Earl Shannon) Boyer of Columbiana; three sons, Warren (Mary) Boyer, Ron Boyer and Wendell Boyer all of New Waterford; a step-son, Samuel Miller of Boardman; a sister, Donna J. (Glenn) Burford of Poland; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Walter Boyer and a son, Walter Daniel Boyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Reverend Michael Namy officiating. Burial will follow in East Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
