Stephen T. Hrivnak

Columbiana February 17, 2007 -Stephen Todd Hrivnak, age 39, of 397 South Main Street died Saturday in the Marquette Hospital, Marquette MI, following a snowmobile accident.

He was born August 8, 1967 in New Kensington PA, son of Donald and Marilyn Blissell Hrivnak.

Mr. Hrivnak moved to Columbiana in 1978 from Lower Burrell PA.

Stephen was employed as a Highway Technician III, for ODOT for 21 years.

He was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church and was an assistant coach for Columbiana T-Ball.

Surviving are his wife, the former Kathy Brown whom he married September 23, 1988; his parents, Wilbert and Marilyn Johnson of Columbiana and Donald and Judy Hrivnak of Lower Burrell, PA; a daughter, Miss Taylor Hrivnak and two sons, Dylan Hrivnak and Ryan Hrivnak, all of the home; a sister, Erin Scarnecchia of Poland, a brother, Donald Scott Hrivnak of Leetonia; two step sisters, Laurie Homkus and Kim Salak, both of Lower Burrell, PA. and nieces and nephews; Amanda and Elyssa Scarnecchia, Amanda and Jessica Brown, Russel Yoho, III, Zachary Yoho, and Gina, Kellie and Joanna Brown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Ziegler and Rev. W. David H. Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.
