Sharlene Ann Woods
East Palestine, OH-February 15, 2011-Sharlene Ann Woods, 47, of 5441 Latta Road, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at her home following a year long illness.
Mrs. Woods was born August 11, 1963 in Salem, a daughter of Robert E. and Shirley Little Cusick and had lived in the Columbiana County area all of her life.
She had been a clerk for Big Lots in Boardman and had also worked as a custodian for E.J. Bognar in East Palestine.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond "Sonny" Woods, Jr. whom she married June 9, 1989; her two daughters, Rayann and Samantha Woods, both of the home; three sisters, Denice Cusick of Petersburg, Diana Cusick and LaVonne (Joshua) Morena both of East Palestine; two brothers, Kenneth (Holly) Cusick of Bonneau, SC and Bobby Cusick of Petersburg; her mother-in-law, Mary Jane Frank of East Palestine; her father-in-law, Raymond E. Woods, Sr. of New Waterford; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
