Shannon Lee Bussard

Columbiana February 7, 2004 - Shannon Lee Bussard, age 40, of 406 Edgewood Drive died at 12:25 a.m. Saturday at her residence.

She was born, April 17, 1963, in Youngtown, daughter of Robert S. and Arlyn Stewart Dillon and had lived in Columbiana for 35 years.

Mrs. Bussard had been a Multiple Handicap Teacher for Columbiana County and has been a Legal Consultant for Columbiana County Education Services for two years. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and Master's degree from Kent State University, where she was working on her PhD.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana and the National Education Association.

Beside her husband, Fred Bussard whom she married February 27, 1982;she is survived by her parents of Columbiana; a son, Jackson Taylor Bussard of the home; a sister, Mrs. Mark (Heidi Rae) Dix of Humble TX; two brothers, George Taylor Dillon of Boulder CO and Dr. Robert Randy Dillon of Canon City CO.

A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Reverend Steven K. Brown at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
