Scott E. Cope

Leetonia - April 22, 2007 - Scott E. Cope, 45, of 4233 Grafton Road, died Sunday at his home.

Scott was born September 26, 1961 in Salem, a son of Richard L. and Mary Lou Powell Cope and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a self employed farmer and was a member of Grace Church of Columbiana. He was also a member of the Columbiana County Farm Bureau, the Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Cattleman's Association, and the Ohio Corn Growers Association.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Mary Lou Cope of Leetonia; his wife, the former Roxanne L. Haynam; a daughter, Taylor Cope and a son, Preston Cope, both of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Tim (Robin) Houck of Salem and Mrs. Jeff (Debra) Rowland of Leetonia; and two brothers, Brian (Vicki) Cope of Columbiana and Ramon (Amie) Cope of West Salem.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Mr. Ron Dicken officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday.
