Scott A. Bingham

New Waterford, OH-Scott A. Bingham, 37, of 3304 Waterford Road, died at his home.

Scott was born April 26, 1971 in Salem, a son of William and Mary E. Bittner Bingham and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was a 1989 graduate of East Palestine High School and was a millwright-pile driver for Local 1871 Carpenters Union, Youngstown. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1506, and a social member of the Edward L. McGuckin Post #4579 VFW in East Palestine. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his dogs.

He survived by his parents, William and Mary Bingham of East Palestine; a daughter, Brittany Ann Bingham of New Waterford; two brothers, Thomas R. (Karen) Bingham of East Palestine and William Robert "Bob" (Michele) Bingham of LaPlata, Maryland; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bittner of Columbiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Pastor Donald Pentz officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
