Sandra Sue Hoffman

Sandra Sue Hoffman, age 70, of 99 North Cross Street died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday in the Salem Community Hospital.

She was born Aug. 30, 1936 in Rogers, daughter of Edgar and Orpha Grubb Baker.

She had lived in Columbiana since 1976 coming from East Lewistown OH. She had been a home improvement coordinator for Sears Roebuck for 22 years.

She was a member of the Rogers Methodist Church and the Sweet Adeline's of Youngstown.

She is survived by her husband, Loyal 'ED' Hoffman whom she married September 25, 1955; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Debra) Smith of Salem; a son, Jon A. (Wendy) Hoffman of Columbiana; a sister Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Crane of Leetonia; a brother John Baker of Columbiana; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A sister, Marthanell Seachrist, preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark D. Vincent of New Waterford United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
