Leetonia - June 30, 2004 - Sally M. McIlduff, age 82, of East Main Street, died at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday at Essex 1 of Salem following a long illness.
Mrs. McIlduff was born March 28, 1922 in Leetonia, a daughter of Anthony and Fortunata Caputa Muraco and had lived here all of her life. She had been employed as a packer at the DanDee Company, Leetonia for several years. She had also worked at the former Spatholt's Hardware in Leetonia. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, LCBA Branch #909 where she had served as treasurer and also the PALS Club.
Her husband, Daniel E. McIlduff, whom she married May 28, 1949 died November 4, 1967.
She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Caldwell of Vernon, NJ, Luanne Lunger of Salem, Teresa Furniss of Howland, and Suzanne McIlduff of Uniontown; four sons, Anthony McIlduff of Leetonia, James McIlduff of Salem, Daniel McIlduff of Houston, TX, and John McIlduff of Leetonia; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A sister, Mildred Perry and a brother, Vincent Muraco are also deceased.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Reverend Edward Brienz and Deacon Lawrence Pasko officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia from 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be directed to either the Leetonia Public Library or the Alzheimer's Association.
