Sadie Alice Donnalley

Washingtonville, OH-February 25, 2005-Sadie Alice Donnalley, 79, of 150 N. County Road died at 12:59 pm Friday at Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Donnalley was born April 18, 1925 in Butler, PA, a daughter of Frank and Carrie Ellen Kelley Roberts and had lived in the area all of her life.

She was press operator for Ballonoff's of Columbiana for many years retiring in 1988. She also worked in the Lisbon Pottery and Riverview Greenhouses in East Liverpool.

She attended the First United Methodist Church of Lisbon.

Her husband, Elmer Donnalley, Jr. whom she married June 25, 1947 died May 19, 1986.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dale (Joyce) Galbraith of Fishers, IN; three sons, Elmer "Butch" Donnalley of Columbiana, Richard Edward Donnalley of Dunedin, FL and Michael W. (Robyn) Donnalley of Washingtonville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pettigrew of Lisbon, Mrs. Ann Ripley of Newton Falls and Mrs. Carl (Pat) Pennell of Salem; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A son, Elmer Donnalley III, four brothers, Frank, James, Robert and Henry Roberts and her aunt Sadie Roberts, who raised her, are deceased.

Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home with the Reverend Betsy Schenk officiating. Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
