Ruth Zins

Columbiana - Ruth Zins, 93, of Columbiana, formerly of Poland, passed away Monday evening, July 10, 2017 at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

She was born November 14, 1923 in Youngstown, daughter of the late Joseph and Edna James.

Ruth was a homemaker and member of the Poland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed line dancing, as well as bowling and playing cards with her neighborhood friends.

She was preceded in death, on July 11, 1985, by her husband, Joseph W. Zins, Sr.

Ruth leaves behind three children, Kenneth (Annie) Zins of Gahanna, Joseph W. (Karen) Zins, Jr. of Boardman and Sharon (Ray) Colledge of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Lynn M. Colledge and ten siblings.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

A Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home with Chaplain Ken Rambo officiating.
