Ruth E. Scullion

Washingtonville, OH-October 4, 2006-Ruth E. Scullion, age 84, of 175 Chris Avenue, died at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salem.

Mrs. Scullion was born September 23, 1922 in Washingtonville, a daughter of Walter and Marie Rohrer Warner and had lived in this area all of her life.

She had worked as a machine operator for WM, Inc. in Washingtonville for many years retiring in 1980. She had also worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator. She was a member of Washingtonville Robbins United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Robert Leo Scullion, whom she married April 24, 1942, died June 6, 1963.

She is survived by her four sons, Bob (Nancy) Scullion and Jerry (Elaine) Scullion both of Phoenix, AZ, Jim (Elisa) Scullion of San Diego, CA and David Scullion of Half Moon Bay, CA; two sisters, Ethel Llewellyn and Janice Glass both of Washingtonville; a brother, Robert (Janet) Warner of Salem; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Glen, Donald, James and Kenneth Warner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
