Ruth Louella Riles

Leetonia-Ruth Louella Riles, 91, of 746 Columbia St., died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her home.

Mrs. Riles was born December 8, 1919 in Leetonia, a daughter of Louis and Florence Ginther Fronk and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.

Her husband, Lawrence E. Riles, whom she married December 4, 1944, preceded her in death on July 17, 1999.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Ginther of Port Richey, FL and Mary Ellen (William) Raddick of Leetonia; two grandchildren, Jamie Lee Ginther and Michael Ginther; and a great grandson, Jay Lee Ginther.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Riles, and three sisters, Mary Fawcett, Gertrude Niederhiser and Lois Bohla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia with the Reverend Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Woods- Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.

Memorial tributes may be made to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Association.
