Ruth Anna Keslar, 88, formerly of McCloskey Road, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Keslar was born May 27, 1919 in East Fairfield, OH, a daughter of Raymond and Nora Stooksberry Pike and had lived in the area all her life.
She was a homemaker and attended East Fairfield United Methodist Church. Ruth had been a member of the Pandora Rebekah Lodge #743 and the Tri State Explorer Club.
Her husband, Howard McIntosh Keslar, whom she married June 15, 1940, died August 22, 1988.
She is survived by her six daughters, Mrs. David (Joyce) Habeger of Salem, Mrs. David (Beverly) Mannen of Houston TX, Mrs. Neil (Beatrice) Herbkersman of Eaton, Mrs. Herb (Marcia) Bortner of Columbiana, Mrs. John (Dawn) Daugherty of Poland, and Mrs. Michael (Terri) Fetters of Kent; three sons, Ernie (Janet) Keslar of East Palestine, Keith (Joyce) Keslar of New Waterford, and Howard (Pattie) Keslar of Columbiana; a brother, James L. Pike of Columbiana; as well as, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle Keslar.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Namy officiating. Burial will follow at the East Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
