Rudolph Sacchet

East Palestine-Rudolph Sacchet, 90, formerly of Columbiana died at 5:40 am Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Meadows in East Palestine.

Mr. Sacchet was born June 5, 1923 in Monongahela, PA, a son of Angelo and Anna Marie Cossalter Sacchet and had lived in this area most of his life.

Rudy was a heavy equipment operator of the East Fairfield Coal Company for ten years retiring in 1987. He served in the US Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Ernst, whom he married July 29, 1972; three daughters, JoAnn Sacchet and Rebecca Grace both of Allentown, PA and Rhudell "Dee" Sacchet of Orefield, PA; and a sister in law, Alice Nicols of Boardman.

No services are being observed.
