Ruby Kleber Meyo, 99, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Leetonia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, at SEM HAVEN, Milford, Ohio. A woman of remarkable strength, grace, and resilience, she lived nearly a century filled with devotion to her family, her community, and the simple joys of life.
Ruby was born November 2, 1926, in Myrtle, WV, a daughter of the late Earl and Jane Conley Feiss. Prior to moving to Cincinnati, she had lived in Berea, Ohio and Leetonia, Ohio.
She was a homemaker and a former member of Saint Carlo Acutis Parish, Saint Patrick Church, Leetonia. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched all who knew her. Ruby will be remembered for her gentle and kind spirit, her generosity, her warmth, her sense of humor and compassionate heart.
Ruby is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Franks of Cincinnati, OH, and Victoria Fleck of Mariemont, OH; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to the love and attention she always shared with her family, they will remember her delicious lasagna, apple cake, and banana bread just to name a few of the delights she made for them.
Her first husband, Harry G. Kleber, whom she married on July 5, 1946, preceded her in death on, May 13, 1970. On June 2, 1973 she married Joseph Meyo who died August 31, 2004.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Keith, Rosella Muncy, and Edith Parsons; and four brothers, Earl Feiss, Edgar Feiss, Fred Feiss, and Edwin Feiss.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Leetonia with the Very Reverend Chad Johnson, V.F. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 93, Leetonia, OH 44431. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
