Ross W. Brunner

Leesburg, FL – Ross W. Brunner, 87, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Heritage Manor, Youngstown.

Mr. Brunner was born November 17, 1927 in Salem, a son of the late Alfred and Josephine Cain Brunner.

Ross had served in the US Army during WWII. He had worked as a self-employed auto mechanic and was a member of Greenford Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Luella “Lue” McCowin, whom he married July 9, 1949; two daughters, Brenda Fusek of Canfield and Connie Schaffer of Columbiana; two sons, Gary Brunner of Mentor, OH and Richard Brunner of Tampa, FL; three sisters, Marty McBride of Canfield, June Herron of Leetonia and Jean Albright of Salem; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Ross was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Durham and Doris Warner and a brother, Lloyd Brunner.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Greenford Christian Church with Minister John Bush officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Burial will take place at a later date in Washingtonville Cemetery.
