Rosemary Stambaugh

Leetonia-Rosemary Stambaugh, 93, formerly of Leetonia passed away Monday morning, September 12, 2016 at Brookdale Senior Living, Salem.

Mrs. Stambaugh was born November 14, 1922 in Ogden Township, MI, a daughter of the late Homer B. and Irma Bloom Stevens.

Rosemary was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia since 1946, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Lucy Wolcott Barnum Chapter, Adrian, MI and the former Leetonia Ladies Club.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stambaugh, Sr., whom she married September 16, 1944; her daughter, Jean Holt; her two sons, Robert Stambaugh, Jr. and David Stambaugh; and her sister, Eleanore Argue.

She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Sherrin Stambaugh of Columbiana and Judith (Michael) Iwai of Kapaa Kauai, HI; her son-in-law, Dennis Holt of Leetonia; and two grandchildren, Katie (Kyle) Kramer and Zachary (Chelcey) Stambaugh.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

Her family requests material contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley.
