Rose M. Raddick

Leetonia- Rose M. Raddick, age 95, of Leetonia, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

Rose was born on September 4, 1919, the fifth of ten children of the late Joseph and Teresa Mango Baulo and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Leetonia.

She attended Leetonia schools and was married to William Raddick from 1944 until his death in 1987. Rose worked more than 60 years, starting as a child picking produce at area farms, then working at several area restaurants and the Ravenna Arsenal, 14 years at Dan-Dee in Leetonia and 11 years at Franklin Furniture in Columbiana where she retired in 1983.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Zora Rose; four brothers, Tony, Joe, Gene, and John Baulo and by three sisters, Catherine Baulo, Jane Hinchliffe and Mary Riffle.

She is survived and will be missed by her two sons, George (Donna) Raddick and William “Bill” (Mary Ellen) Raddick, a grandson, Andrew Raddick and two sisters, Mildred Meece and Ruth Milcetich and their families, and many other relatives and friends.

With respect for Rose’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A private burial was held at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
