Rosalyn Jones

Leetonia – Rosalyn Jones, 91, of Leetonia, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at her home.

She was born January 8, 1925 in Leetonia, a daughter of Joseph and Susan (Morbito) Perry and lived here all her life.

Rosalyn was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Leetonia.

Her husband, Bill Jones, whom she married December 31, 1947 died July 28, 2004.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Francis Perry and two sisters, Dolores Greier and Rita Rohrer.

She is survived by a daughter, Sue (Terry) Kornbau of Salem; two sons, Melvyn (Debbie) Jones of Brecksville and Douglas Jones of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Becky Jones of Columbiana and a sister-in-law, Becky Perry of Leetonia.

She leaves eight grandchildren, Julie (Jeff) Cecil, Laura (Keith) Menough, Paul (Beth) Jones, Jessica (Adam) Schueren, Sarah (Michael) Kearney, Katie (Eric) Young, Emily (Craig) Rodik, and Gina Jones; and her great grandchildren, Grant, Garrett and Paige Menough, Sam and Alex Cecil, Anna Rodik and Noah Young.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia.

No calling hours are being observed.
